Waiting list closedWaiting list status
The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed. We are not accepting applications by mail, in person, or by phone.
When the list reopens, dates and instructions will be posted on this website and in public notices. The Housing Authority never asks for payment to apply.
The 202 PRAC (elderly only) waiting list is also closed.

How the program works
- Apply while the list is open. Eligible applicants are placed on the waiting list.
- Selection and screening. When your name is reached, we verify income, household size, and eligibility.
- Voucher and housing search. You choose a rental unit whose owner agrees to participate.
- Inspection and contract. The unit must pass inspection before the landlord signs a contract with the Housing Authority.
